Card games are games that are played using cards. There are many types of games that can be played using cards. It can be played by two or more players. There are normally 52 cards in a deck of cards of which 2 cards are jokers

In a variation of 2 colors and 4 houses we have red and back and in red we have hearts and diamond and in black color we have spades and clubs. Playing cards is fun. There are normally a defined set of rules to play each game .However this may change from person to person slightly or from region to region. Some games of cards involve the use of boards which may be for the purpose of scorekeeping. A unique feature of the card game is the cards can be seen by the holder of the cards only ie it’s identifiable from one side only and hence no player will know what cards the other players are holding.

Where the card game (poker online) involves just one person it is called as solitaire. In fact the 2 player and 4 player games are more common. Partnerships can also be formed and also teams formed to make it a two player game extension. Cut throat game can be played where an individual wins or loses alone and can be played by any number of persons so long as there is sufficient number of cards. The direction of play can be clockwise or anti clock wise. This is normally played in clockwise direction.

The dealer is one who takes the task of shuffling the cards and distributing it to the players. As this can be advantageous or disadvantageous to the dealer, this role is passed among the players after each game. Each player receives a set of cards and this is called hand. And this hand is over when the player completes the hand.

To shuffle is to make the cards in a random order such that the players do not receive the same cards each time and the game is new. Once shuffled the dealer cuts the pack into 2 halves of nearly equal cards and shows it to the player on the left to pick one card which is faced downward and keep it face down. Then the balance cards are distributed to the players and depending on the game, the cards will be distributed wholly or just a certain number of cards.

There are varied games of cards namely rummy, Bluff, Trump etc. It’s interesting to play cards and at times games of cards are also played with the money factor which is known as gambling. But gambling in India is illegal though this practice still continues in some places.
