Web Development Projects With Deadlines!

Done with mock-up website, save data and done! Phew!

Back-to-back web development projects are driving me insane. I am currently working on a big project with web development Kansas City, one of the best in the world. Besides that, I have to curate at least 8 websites in 3 months and I have just one intern who works under me, he is my one and only brother who knows this work. This is super exhausting! The reason why I have so many projects at one-go is that I attended an event where people get together once a month to showcase their work and talk about their services. I too attended it as I had absolutely no clients. I legit got 8 clients in one day and all who pay really well. It was too tempting to say no to anyone.

It takes good 1-3 weeks to develop one website. Depending on the amount of information and tabs that go on a webpage, the work amount increases. A mock design has to be prepared to show the client a dummy of their website with the look, feel and colors. The development stage and the beginning stage needs a lot of attention.

I was done with 3 mock websites and had to showcase my work today. After meeting the client, I got to know that they needed some more information added! My workload just kept increasing and it was high time I hired someone to help me divide my workload. After putting up a status on Facebook about hiring people, I received many CVs on email. I quickly went through all the profiles and decided to short-list 2 people the next day. There were 2 girls who were supposed to come and meet me to discuss the work, soon after meeting them, I realized I could keep both of them on a contract basis at least till these 8 web sites were completed. We soon started working as a team from the next day itself. I was really impressed with their pace of work and quality. Very soon, we had completed all the modifications of each client’s website. After sitting in for days and hours in front of the screen, we were finally done and had the web page running live in no time. Wow, it was really a task and I wouldn’t have been able to meet deadlines without my team. It is so important to have people working with you and for you as well!!
